Tonight, tried to clone a new virtual machine using vCloud Director when I got the following error:
Failed to publish configuration on vShield Edge. Error code VIX_E_TIMEOUT_WAITING_FOR_TOOLS was returned by VIX API.
Solution:
Restarting the vShield server resolved the issue.
Recently encountered an issue where I was cloning servers for my vApp in vCloud Director and an error appeared.
Weird, as I have enough storage on the LUN, but then I remembered about vApp Storage Policies.
Open vCloud Director.
Double click on the Organization VDCs where the vApp lives. In this case, DEV.
Click on Storage Policies tab:
Right click on the Storage Policy and set the Storage Limit:
